About Me 
I'm am a ECE teacher Holding UK Qualification BETEC 2-3 in ECE Which is equivalent to a Level 3 diploma and am also studying in bachelor of teaching ECE. I have worked in early childhood education (ECE) for 12 years, In that time I have worked with children 0-7 years mainstream and special needs in a range of early education settings. Preschool, day care, primary school, special education centres, Home child care, after school care and play groups. I also hold many Training certificates specializing in, Working with special needs, Speech and language development, behavior management, Babies birth-1 year, under five development stages. child protection, discipline with-out smacking and  I am  fully ofsted UK trained.

I am also a full time mum of 3, two girls 7 and 9, my 9 year old has Autism and a 4 year old son.

How flashkidsnz started

Flashkidsnz first stated in 2006, I had one of my daughters struggling at school, I searched everywhere in New Zealand for resources to help her catch up, With no luck I decided to make my own. I stated with flash cards, stories and work sheet and she soon started to pick up pace with her learning. At the time I was ask by many parents where I had purchase these resources from, When replaying "I made them" I was ask to make more and more and more!!!
Over time this developed and we decided to create flashkidsnz. Flashkidsnz online shop was officially opened on October 2007.

Our vision

To design and produce High quality New Zealand made resources  for teacher, child care centres, home child carers, parents grandparents etc at great value prices and Continue to hold our high reputation. We intend to meet the growing needs and development of the new Zealand  early childhood curriculum. Our plan for this following year is to expand our site to over 250 products, especially in our special needs section. We also will be offering Free presentation about our products to schools in the Franklin area.
Towards the end of 2008 we will be offering storytelling classes, How to read story to children and Story beyond circle time.

Flashkidsnz is the only place you will find weight lap pads in New Zealand. Until now centres specializing in special need have purchase items from over sea's paying high postage cost to import weighted products. From Jan 2008 flashkidsnz released a small range of weighted products.
